I understand if some of you have previous engagements, because it is, after all, Christ’s day. But if even one of you who are invited cannot attend, I will promptly march out into the center of Tiverton Court and blow my brains out. And you’ll carry that burden, the image of me as a lifeless, twitching, blood-soaked snow angel, for the rest of your life.
